Stair stows to the right.

The stair can be made to stow towards either a wall-on-the-left (left-side-stationary) or towards a wall-on-the-right (right-side-stationary). Right and left here are from the perspective of someone looking at the stair from the bottom landing.

Do you want your stair to stow towards the left or towards the right?

Stair Dimensions

The only width currently supported is 26in i.e. 635mm. If a different width is needed to fit your space, please contact.

Width = the horizontal left-right distance between the outsides of the stringers.

Calipers show stair width to measure.
Calipers (green) show width measurement.

Height = the vertical distance between landings.

degrees

Either depth or pitch can be specified.

Depth = the horizontal front-back distance from the edge of the upper landing to, roughly, the front of the stair.

More specifically: it is the length of the horizontal edge of the right triangle whose vertical edge is the stair's height, and whose pitch matches the stair's pitch.

Triangle shows stair pitch, calipers show stair depth.
Stair is in the deployed state.
Triangle shows stair pitch, calipers show stair depth.
Stair is in the stowed state.
Triangle (red) shows pitch measurement, calipers (green) show depth measurement.

Baseboard Clearance = the vertical distance sufficient to clear the baseboard.

A baseboard is the molding (i.e. trim) located in the corner between floor and wall. We can shape your stair to accommodate a baseboard, enabling a flush install that is minimally invasive. To do this the stair can be shaped with a 18.6mm (~0.732") recess of a custom clearance-height.

Baseboard being cleared.
Baseboard cleared by a recess of sufficient clearance-height.

Before you click: please make sure the input values are correct, to ensure that your stair will fit your space.
